This is an IR driver, designed to control the C71KW Android Boxes for DirecTV Stream.

This DirecTV Stream Driver improves on the database version of the DirecTV HR24 in three ways.

1) Play/Pause commands are fixed on my driver. (They don't work properly on the HR24 driver. Either the play or pause doesn't work, and isn't recognized by the C71KW box.)

2) There are no traditional skip buttons on the DirecTV Stream box. It uses arrow left/right to jump along the recordings. My driver replaces the non-functional Skip FWD/Back with the appropriate left/right arrow commands.

3) The Channel # macro's on the HR24 sends an "ENTER" command which opens the MENU on the DirecTV Stream box. I have removed this command, to ensure the DTV Stream just goes straight to the channel instead.

When opens - turn on lights, send notifications, if his/hers customize music etc.
When left open - send reminder, garage heater off
Ability to open - allow access, if detached garage run into in the rain from the house without waiting for the door, forgot keys, if detached warm up car (don't sell this feature)
Ability to close - security, good night, lock up, insulation from temperatures, detached close easily when you forget
Control the power to the opener - lockout when away, classic car, etc.

there is a known issue with some of the c4 matrices. Contact your josh support or dealer to get updated versions.
 

This is the way. The issue is that even though the matrix is programmed. By default they still for some reason are audio sensing. It is a setting in the driver and is not available in the Composer Gui to change pro or home. With the proper driver, no audio response delay is needed. 

Nope, it’s a setting within the AVR.

So if you don't want your speakers on (think late at night or something), you can still use your TV speakers instead.

I'm understanding fully well.  It's you who does not comprehend what's happening.
From a Denon manual:
HDMI PassThrough
Selects how this unit will transmit HDMI signals to the HDMI output in standby power mode.
    On
(De­fault):
Trans­mits the se­lected HDMI input through the AV re­ceiver’s HDMI out­put when this unit is in standby power mode.
Off:
No HDMI sig­nals are trans­mit­ted through this unit’s HDMI out­put in standby power mode.

You may get some conflicts with commands having them both set up. I would recommend reading the Alexa documentation to see what it can do. It shouldn't be too bad what ever device sends a command to it will just get handled like anything else.  As far as what we use we now use josh.ai to do a lot of voice control and they have deep integration into roku. You can just simply ask for a show to play like. Hey, josh watch stranger things season 4 episode 3, or other similar commands. In this case, josh and c4 control the Roku independently. However, josh works tightly with control4 so that multiple of the same commands would be sent and Josh knows that the Roku is in the control4 system so it will properly update all of the relevant navigators. In fact, you can use the Josh app and the control4 app at the same time and they essentially work interchangeably.

🤣 Yes because it's the satisfied people that post reviews the most, not to mention half of them don't even have a Control4 system but are expecting it to work with their Skybell....and complain when it doesn't.

Online website and app store 'ratings and reviews' are not an indication of what is 'typical' at all.

You need to downmix from Surround to Stereo. The Voice normally comes through a centre channel, which you don't have (which is why it sounds dim).

I am guessing you are using the 3.5mm ports if you switched to an EA3 to test it. Did you try hitting the null check box just for S&Gs? I have a Core 5 in a project using both RS232 connections with no issues.

This isn't 'programming' this is done via bindings in ComposerPro.

They are hard to come by. Av pro receiver Baluns will work for video only. Message me if you want one.
